Richard N. Keogh, PHd. - Dick specializes in helping universities train faculty and staff in institutional research administration policies and processes as well as in the use of research management software. He has extensive experience both in research administration having served as a Director of Research Administration of 25 years.
Dick provided institutional compliance oversight and developed all institutional policies pertaining to sponsored programs. In this capacity, he served as administrative liaison and counsel to the college committees on the Use of Human Subjects in Research, Faculty Research, and the Care and Use of Animals in Research, and was the principal author of the college policies on Scientific Misconduct and Conflict of Interest. In addition, he was responsible for selection of all software used to assist sponsored programs functions.
Dr. Keogh served as a committee member of the Federal Demonstration Partnership (FDP), is a past Region I Chair of the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA), and is a former member of the NCURA Board of Directors.
